A digital service to promote composting and reduce waste
Home composting is a good environmental practice that benefits everyone: it reduces waste production, lowers municipal management costs, and allows virtuous citizens to access discounts on the municipal waste tax (TARI). However, to be officially recognized, a transparent, updated, and verifiable monitoring system is required.
This is why the Digital Composting Register was created, a service also integrated into the Junker app that allows municipalities and managers to easily coordinate all home composting activities in compliance with regulations.
All in one platform
With the Digital Composting Register, the Municipality/manager can:
- allow citizens to register directly via the app or web;
- receive periodic self-monitoring reports with geolocalized images;
- provide composting guides and instructions directly via the app;
- track delivered composters and schedule periodic inspections;
- allow operators to record inspection results in real time;
- generate a certified history of composting activities;
- correlate composting activity with waste tax discounts provided by the municipality regulations.
Register your composter with one click
Simply complete an in-app form, attaching photos, comments, and periodic self-certifications. Thanks to our partnership with Sartori Ambiente, composters equipped with QR codes allow for smart, paperless management of the physical container as well.
The Digital Composting Register service package:
- Register periodic self-certifications for citizens, available via app and web.
- Web dashboard for administrators to track registration requests, composter supplies, and periodic inspections.
- Web form for operators to monitor home composters and perform on-site inspections.
- Home composting guide: with tips, images, frequently asked questions, remedies, waste management, etc. in the app.
